| Stars and Stripes Baton craft
Show your patriotic side with this Stars and Stripes baton craft. It's so easy and fast to put together! Download and print the project page here, then cut out the stripe handle, roll into a handle shape and tape. Cut out the stars then tape or glue decorative ribbon to the backside of one of the stars. Tape rolled handle onto the back of one star. Glue the backs of both stars together with the handle inside.
Balloon Rocket Fins project
You won't have to worry about your little ones getting burned while playing with this fun project. All you need for your rocket to fly is a balloon, drinking straw, rubber band and a rocket fin that you can download and cut out here. Cut out your rocket fin, then punch or cut a hole in the center. Fold fin in half. Cut the drinking straw in half and insert into hole of rocket fin. You can secure the fin to the straw with tape or an additional rubber band underneath. Attach an empty balloon to the opposite end of the straw, secure over the opening of the straw with a tight rubber band. Blow through the straw until your balloon is full. Cover the opening of the straw with your finger, until you are ready to release it. Remove your finger and watch your rocket fly!
